Community Support

The Nye Community Foundation supports numerous local community organizations, including the Nye School, Nye Volunteer Fire Department, Stillwater Ranch Hands 4-H Club, Dean Community Club, the Nye School Hunger Fighters, Beartooth VFW, Nye Church, AYSO, and the Stillwater Valley Watershed Council.

The Nye Community School provides kindergarten through grade 8 education to area children in the time-honored tradition of the one-room schoolhouse.

The school celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2006 and is constructed out of local cobblestone.  For additional information find the Nye School on Facebook.
